JLL appoints sustainability consulting head for Asia Pacific
She has authored two books on sustainability and holds a master of science degree and PhD in physics from the University of Amsterdam.
Elke Kornalijnslijper has been appointed as the head of sustainability consulting in Asia Pacific by JLL. In her new role based in Singapore, she will be managing a team of 100 real estate sustainability experts across 11 markets in the region.
Kornalijnslijper holds a master of science degree and PhD in physics from the University of Amsterdam and is the author of two books on sustainability. Prior to joining JLL in January 2022, she was the head of strategy and Research & Development for SP Digital, part of utility service provider SP Group.
Susheel Koul, CEO of work dynamics at JLL’s Asia Pacific region, said that sustainability is one of the biggest growth opportunities for both JLL’s clients and JLL and is becoming an essential service for occupiers and investors.

Kornalijnslijper will be responsible for offering sustainability advice and solutions for JLL’s clients in the region. This include identifying potential risks and opportunities that may be existing in sustainability strategies, driving the expansion of JLL’s Net Zero Carbon Buildings services, and providing value-add services such as reporting, certification, and compliance.
Overall, Kornalijnslijper’s role will be instrumental in helping JLL’s clients set and fulfil their net-zero strategies and targets.
