Chip Eng Seng reopens former Park Hotel Alexandra under new Momentus brand

Momentus Hospitality, a subsidiary of Chip Eng Seng Group, opened the first property of its Momentus Hotels & Resorts brand on March 1. Previously an operational hotel known as Park Hotel Alexandra, operated by Park Hotel Group, the property has now been rebranded and refurbished as Momentus Hotel Alexandra. The refurbishment was led by Interior design company KKS International who led the redesign of the property.

The 442-key hotel provides modern amenities for guests, such as a Momentum Club Lounge on the 19th floor, updated lobby, refreshed rooms, new F&B offerings and sustainable features. These features include; digital thermostats in all rooms, filtration taps to provide drinking water and biodegradable materials in the dry bathroom amenities.

CES-Ariva Hospitality, a joint venture company between Chip Eng Seng and Ariva Hospitality holds a 70:30 ownership of Momentus Hospitality and explains that their brand story starts in Singapore.

“We are heartened that the Momentus brand story starts here in Singapore,” said Angeline Tan, vice president at CES Hospitality. She added that “I believe this is the start of an exciting journey for our Momentus brand, where guests can create Moments with us.”

Dino Lim, general manager of Momentus Hospitality, also commented that “Our goal is to offer innovative and quality tourism experiences to travellers and grow to be one of Asia’s reputable hospitality players.”

The refurbishment of the hotel was initiated in August 2022 and has now been completed, allowing Momentus Hospitality to move forward with their ambitions to thrive in the Asia Pacific region.
