Three-bedder at The Atria at Meyer hits new psf high of $2,116
Atria at Meyer, Sturdee Residences and Amber Park topped the list of condos with new psf-price highs and lows, respectively, from June 9 to 16.Leading the pack was The Atria at Meyer, with a 1,475 sq ft, three-bedroom unit on the second floor setting a new psf-price high of $2,116 psf. At a close second was a 420 sq ft one-bedroom unit at Sturdee Residences that was sold at $2,115 psf, while Amber Park saw a five-bedroom unit sold by the developer for $1,956 psf.
The Atria at Meyer topped the list of condos to hit new psf-price highs between June 9 and 16, setting a new record of $2,116 psf with the sale of a 1,475 sq ft three-bedroom unit on the second floor. Located in District 15’s Marine Parade area, this freehold 24-storey development has seen a steady increase in average transaction prices over the past two decades. Last month, the condo’s average price was $2,043 psf.
Nearby freehold condos such as The Seafront on Meyer, Hawaii Tower, and the upcoming Meyer Mansion have also seen a similar increase in prices, with The Seafront currently at $2,083 psf and Hawaii Tower at $1,760 psf. Luxury project Meyer Mansion commands the highest psf-price so far at $2,747 psf.
The Myst Bukit Panjang is also near to The Rail Mall which provides convenient access to eateries, supermarkets, and various shops, hence the residents are spoilt for choices when it comes to leisure. The condo also provides modern and luxurious facilities for its residents.
Sturdee Residences came in a close second, with a 17th-floor 420 sq ft one-bedroom unit sold for $888,000 ($2,115 psf). The 99-year leasehold condo located on Beatty Road in District 8 sold 40% of its 305 units at the VIP preview event in April 2016 at an average price of $1,550 psf. The condo saw an increase in prices over the past few years, reaching an average price of $2,051 psf last month.
Amber Park, meanwhile, ended the week with a new psf-price low. Developer City Developments Ltd sold a 2,045 sq ft five-bedroom unit on the ground floor for $4 million ($1,956 psf). Prices for the 592-unit freehold development are typically higher at an average of $2,515 psf. The developers previously sold a 2,142 sq ft, five-bedroom unit for $2,334 psf.
The condos at Amber Park neighbourhood are also priced similarly. The average psf-price at neighbouring condos One Amber and The Esta is $2,045 and $2,123, respectively. The newly completed project Amber Sea has prices averaging $2,628 psf.
